Mr. Morris
Thank you so much for this thought provoking article which pretty much states the obviously not so obvious about what is important. I have been exiled for the last 30 years from my instrument and am now (at age 59) returning to it having retired from my distraction. The temptation to attempt to do the things I used to do is overwhelming, but of course those things are impossible. You have reminded me of the discipline and continuity needed to establish the foundation upon which we build our musicianship. It all came rushing back to me as I read your thoughts on this important matter. Thank you
Bob F.
