Thanks for the comment.  The final outcome is that I decided to go with the Yamaha Artist model.  Overall, it has a more balanced sound and better pitch.  The horn isnt perfect, but I think for me it is an overall improvement over my Bach 239A.

My first c trumpet was exactly that configuration, and while I sold it to a student and went to a 229/H pipe, I enjoyed the horn a lot. I got a little tired of fighting the particular horn&#039;s intonation problems, which prompted the change.
