I guess it was about a year ago that I found your website and became a dedicated reader. The interactive clips in LMI had me glued when you discussed the holiday season as a trumpet player- chasing gigs, making time for family, and trying to maintain a steady practice schedule during the busiest time of year.

I find myself discovering new concepts, thoughts, and ideas from previous articles with every read. I am currently working with “Forest for the Trees,” as I see this as the most important aspect of my playing at this time. I also used this particular work for graduate school auditions this past spring. Wow! It’s been that long...

Each article carries a different meaning for different times, and I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to share and communicate your experiences and expert theories on trumpet playing. Anything you write is worth waiting for.
